Help save a dog and ADOPT!
Every year between 4,000,000 to 9,000,000 dogs are put down in the usa and about 80,000 per week! This is because of the lack of people not realizing this not so fortunate number of dogs in shelters, without a home, and sooner or later are forced to be put down! The saying "dog is mans best friend" hardly makes sense any more, knowing how many we kill day after day. It is not the animal shelter's staff that are to blame, it is us, us regular civilians who choose to buy "top breed" dogs, instead of adopting helpless ones stuck in shelters that were either put in because their owners gave them up, were abused in the past, or were simply found as a stray. This website was created to do nothing more than to give you the feeling of the life that these poor dogs in shelters have to go through and hopefully, when you leave, we pray that you pass on this knowledge to help save these dogs!
